Exciting Week: Vanagon Major Investment in Renoster
🚀 What a week at Vanagon!
We've had the pleasure of hosting two phenomenal events that brought together investors, startups, thought leaders, and game-changers in the tech industry and announced another investment!

First up, our "Open Doors" online event was a resounding success! We had the privilege of featuring an in-depth conversation with Saif Bhatti from Renoster, where we also announced our recent investment in the company. Their innovative approach to innovate the carbon market with deep transparency is making a real difference. The discussion around leveraging technology for environmental sustainability and the changes the team could evoke during the past months was both enriching and thought-provoking. 🦏🌍
We were also joined by Christian Byza from Learn.xyz. Their passion for democratizing education through technology is truly inspirational. The insights they shared about their journey and pivot, as well as the ways they're leveraging AI to enhance learning experiences, were illuminating. 🎓💡
The cherry on top of our week was the VC Rooftop Lunch at Frau im Mond GmbH Munich, thanks to Yvonne Weinmann for having us!
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for these events. It's through these conversations and collaborations that we continue to drive forward, breaking new ground in the tech landscape.
We at Vanagon.vc are super proud to announce our investment in Renoster 🦏!

🌍 Renoster is leading the way in bringing deep transparency into the still largely low-tech voluntary carbon markets -
by rating carbon projects with the latest technology and publishing the results.
🛰️💻 With remote sensing and machine learning, Renoster determines the carbon sequestration value for nature-based carbon projects at scale.
🔎 Renoster's business model represents a flywheel of transparency and awareness and creates incentives for more honesty and accuracy in the market.
🗞️ The company received international media coverage for exposing the low quality delivered by legacy carbon projects and registries and created a profitable business model while helping improve the market for nature-based carbon credits.
📰 For example, Renoster co-founder Elias Ayrey (PhD) was prominently featured for his fight for more transparency in the market in the famous investigative report by DIE ZEIT / The Guardian exposing the low quality of rainforest credits by Verra, the world's largest carbon registry.
👏 We applaud Renoster for their achievements so far and are looking forward to supporting their further quest to bring back trust to this much-needed market.
